The Art of Crafting Organic Rose Essential Oil

Rose picking is done entirely by hand, starting very early in the morning and continuing until noon. To produce high-quality essential oil, the flowers must be fresh and not in full bloom, in order to preserve their aroma and moisture as much as possible.

The next step is the steam distillation process, which involves the conversion of a liquid into a vapor that is then condensed back into a liquid form. Rose flowers typically contain 0.02% to 0.04% essential oil, and in rare cases, this can reach 0.09%. Typically, 1 kilogram (35 Oz) of rose oil is obtained from 2-3 tons of flowers.
